Representatives of Miska Tech have announced a response team to investigate recent geological disturbances and areas hardest hit by recent flood waters that remain. Concerns over the pooling waters grow as city begins construction on “mini” boardwalks to replace underwater sidewalks. City officials have noted Portlund will have the only citizens in the Northwest to “walk on water” daily. It is unknown whether Miska Tech test results will have any bearing on future decisions from city hall.
